Never one to hold his tongue Mathis was speaking to a woman about her difficulties with supported housing and the stupid rules and hoops she had to jump.He couldn't help but to bring up the plight of poor kids that required government help with their education but had been caught in possession of as little as a single joint.Even Mathis was astounded at the disparity this places between those with rich families and poor kids with no options. He even mentioned the figure of 190,000 students that had been declared ineligible.Perhaps with even the judge Mathis' of the world realizing the inequities of the drug war there's hope for support from places we never expected it.Here's hoping!
